Current issues, feedback & complaints on public services in Malaysia
I READ with the utmost trepidation a newspaper report of an injured security guard who has a criminal record.
This came to light in the wake of a RM1 million jewellery robbery in Bandar Baru Sungai Buloh, Selangor, in the middle of this month.
There was a time when we gave our complete trust to our men in uniform, be they from the armed forces, police or those in the civilian services.
If we cannot trust those entrusted with protecting us and our assets, very soon we will begin to distrust everyone.
