I REFER to Treatment room in bad state (The Star, Dec 3).
The laser room of Hospital Sultanah Aminah Johor Baru has two laser machines and two fundus cameras.
All the medical equipment are functioning properly and regularly in use.
The room neither looks like a storage facility, nor are obsolete equipment stored there. The room is accommodating the equipment due to lack of space but it is air-conditioned and fairly comfortable.
There are adequate and comfortable chairs in the laser room for the purpose of therapy.
