I READ with amazement your report, “My biggest mistake” (NST, Jan 4), where Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek says his biggest mistake was that he wanted the people to know him and moved around a lot, thus raising the green-eyed monster in his opponents.

I think Dr Chua’s biggest mistake was his moral lapse, through which he succeeded in embarrassing his family, his supporters, his party and his government.

It also supplied his opponents with the ammunition to shoot him down.

Dr Chua should salvage whatever dignity is left in him and plead forgiveness over and over again from those he has hurt.
