Current issues, feedback & complaints on public services in Malaysia
I USE the rest stops along the expressway quite regularly and am pleased to see the improvements in design and space and the brighter colours.
However, it still amazes me that the design of the sink tops here, as well as in hotels and elsewhere, causes water to flow all over. Is it so hard to have sink tops that curve inwards and drain water into the sinks?
Another thing. I wonder if all those fixing the hooks in the ladies toilets are six-footers. I appreciate having a hook in the cubicle, but I am 51 and I find that I have to really stretch to place my handbag there.
Similarly, at the Putra World Trade Centre in Kuala Lumpur.
Last but not least, it is good to come across a few new places with child-friendly toilets
and a space for mothers and babies.
Keep up the good work, but please place the hooks low enough for the average-height woman.

Ampang, Selangor.
