WE refer to the the complaint raised by A.I.M. of Sungai Buloh, Selangor (”Patients’ privacy must be respected — NST, Jan 2).
We wish to thank the complainant for raising the issue regarding the privacy of patients and agree that A.I.M. deserves privacy and confidentiality for the service sought.
We have taken note of the complaint and will strengthen the procedures for medical examinations, which require confidentiality.
