Current issues, feedback & complaints on public services in Malaysia
A NEW ruling for teachers this year states that it is compulsory for them to wear uniforms according to the extra-curricular activity that they are involved in — for example, Scouts or St John Ambulans — on Wednesdays.
Can the principal, the teacher in charge of co-curriculum or the state Education Department force teachers to wear these uniforms?
If a teacher is wearing a Red Crescent uniform and if there is an accident and if he/she did not help, it would be an offence.
So, please tell us if there are circulars regarding this matter.
Will any action be taken against teachers who do not wear the uniform?
