Current issues, feedback & complaints on public services in Malaysia
CRIMINALS are getting smarter and more ruthless these days.
Crimes such as snatch theft, robbery and even kidnapping are boldly committed in public view because criminals know of the public’s “tidak apa” - self-centred attitude.
This is evident that in spite of each and every one having mobile phones, the flow of vital information from people who witness crimes being committed is not forthcoming.
It is unrealistic of us to expect policemen at every nook and corner of streets to protect us.
We need to change our mindset and become the eyes and ears of the police.
The fight against crime should be our concern. The high commitment shown by us would, to a certain degree, scare off criminals, as they realise that their activities are will not go unreported.
Make sure your mobile phone has important emergency contact numbers such as Rakan Kop and include that of your neighbours so you can call on them in your hour of need.
