Current issues, feedback & complaints on public services in Malaysia
RECENTLY, my uncle suffered a stroke and was admitted to the Malacca General Hospital. A CT scan of his head was needed to ascertain his condition. Surprisingly, there was no such scanning machine there.
He had to be transferred to Hospital Kuala Lumpur for the scan for which my nephew had to pay RM1,000 for an ambulance.
The general hospital in the city of Malacca does not have a head scanning machine. It is high time the Health Ministry and the Malacca government installed such a machine in the state hospital to save lives.
