Dentists: Is this proper?
11Jan2008 NSTI WENT to dental clinic in Masai, Johor, to have my teeth cleaned and polished. I was attended to by a dentist.
After checking my teeth, he asked a girl to carry out the cleaning and polishing. She was rough. I asked her if she was a dentist.
She told me that she was a staff member and she did the cleaning and polishing.
I protested and only then did the dentist come and finish the job. I would like to know if the dentist can allow one of his staff to carry out the job for him.
