Current issues, feedback & complaints on public services in Malaysia
WE see more and more foreigners in every nook and corner of our country, and their presence, which was supposed to help improve production in our country, is creating unease.
Almost every day, we hear of the authorities arresting and charging them for entering the country without proper documents. These illegals are confined to detention centres at the expense of taxpayers.
Why should we keep them and feed them? Being humane is one thing, but to treat these illegals too kindly will only encourage more to enter the country through the back door. Send them back to where they come from.
Act swiftly against foreigners who commit crime in this country, and mete out the punishment promptly. Sometimes, the offenders are brought to court only after a long time and there is the misery of waiting for months or even years for the case to be mentioned.
And, the trial will be postponed over and over again; and by the time sentencing is effected, the offender might be walking out free and most probably deported.
The authorities should send them back to their respective countries instead of wasting precious time, energy and money. The amount spent on taking them to court will not be justified.
I hope the relevant authorities will look into this matter. Tackling and nipping the problems at an early stage is crucial to the well being of this nation.
