Be active in political process
27Feb2008 Malay MailDear Editor, AS the 12th general election is on course, I would like to urge all Malaysians who are registered to vote.
We as Malaysians, no matter who you are and what your political orientation is, need to ex ercise our rights and responsibilities as citizens by voting.
I notice that there are a lot of people who are not aware of the importance of voting in the gen eral election.
Some are not bothered at all or worse, do not know how to get involved.
This is the time to take part in the future and political process of our nation.
The fate of the nation is in our hands.

Children should be educated from young about the importance of voting. Most parents simply discourage their children from taking interest in politics because its “dirty”. Well guess what, there is no such thing as clean politics. As for those who claims to have no interest in politics, I only have this to say, “but politics in interested in you”.
