Current issues, feedback & complaints on public services in Malaysia
Dear Editor,
KUDOS to all SPM top scorers.
I would like to thank The Malay Mail for highlighting the success stories of these high achievers as they deserve recognition for their hard work and sacrifices. I would also like to congratulate Inessa Irdayanty Khairil Anwar, who did extremely well in the examination. The daughter of actress Azean Irdawaty, a cancer survivor, must have gone through a difficult time after being told of her mother’s condition. She has proven to be a multitasker, playing the role of a filial daughter who took the time to look after her mother and a student who sat for 10 subjects in last year’s SPM examination. It could not have been easy burning the midnight oil and keeping your focus with so much on your mind. Inessa’s motivation to do well in her examinations was clearly her love for her mother. She has shown tremendous determination and perseverance for a 17-year-old girl. As for the other top scorers, you’ve proven yourselves to be academically outstanding and your efforts and sacrifices have paid off. The fact that you’ve done exceptionally well proves that you have the ability to go far in life. I am happy to read that many thanked their parents for their successes. To the students, may your future be bright.
