Current issues, feedback & complaints on public services in Malaysia
Dear Editor,
I AM impressed by the Petaling Jaya City Council’s plans to have Wi-Fi services come December for all its staff and the public.
This proves that the local authority is sensitive to the importance of useful technology and is aware that it can improve its services to the public. Petaling Jaya residents are fortunate to have a responsible local authority that cares about them and is making efforts improve the residents’ quality of life. I hope other local authorities will follow suit as it is important for them to take advantage of the latest technologies to serve the public better, especially since the government has asked Malaysians to be IT-savvy. I hope all Petaling Jaya residents will support their local authority’s efforts in providing better services for them.
