Current issues, feedback & complaints on public services in Malaysia
I WOULD like to highlight nonsensical contests organised by radio and TV stations.
The latest is one organised by Mix FM called “Break for a Break”. It requires listeners to register and tell them what they are willing to break in order to win a holiday.
The “winner” will then have to destroy the item in front of representatives from the station before collecting his or her prize.
TV stations are no better. Late night tele-games are siphoning obscene amounts of money from viewers.
Such contests and games offer no positive value. Action should be taken.
