Current issues, feedback & complaints on public services in Malaysia
I WAS driving from KL Sentral on March 24 in a heavy downpour.
A section of Jalan Travers near the Travers Police Station was submerged in flood waters, and to my surprise, I saw a traffic policeman standing in the flood waters.
Despite the heavy rain, he stood in the worst flooded section and directed motorists away from the danger onto the outer most lane which was still safe for traffic.
He also gave encouragement to drivers who were hesitant, guiding them slowly and giving them the thumbs up sign when they made it successfully through the flooded section.
I applaud him for his dedication and professionalism. He is definitely a role model for all.
PROUD TO BE MALAYSIAN,
Subang Jaya.
