Current issues, feedback & complaints on public services in Malaysia
WHY are self-appointed “car jockeys” allowed to ply their trade in Bangsar Baru, Kuala Lumpur? This is particularly true in the busy Jalan Telawi areas.
I was in Jalan Telawi 3 at 5.45pm on a Thursday. I signalled and patiently waited for the driver to move his car out of a parking spot. One of these “jockeys” knocked on my window asking for money and when I said no, he said I couldn’t park there as it was “reserved”. I ignored him. He proceeded to tell the guy in the other car not to leave the spot.
I will willingly pay parking charges but I do not believe in paying these self-appointed jockeys.
DBKL, please put a stop to this racket.
