I REFER to the letter on Employees’ Provident Fund beneficiaries (”Most prefer to keep it secret” — NST, April 16) by Nik Affendi Jaafar of the EPF.

He mentioned that “studies indicated that most members would prefer their nominations to be kept confidential”.

My question is, when was the study conducted? What survey methodology was used in the study?

Can the EPF please put the results of all the surveys on their web page immediately?

I am the head of human resource in my company of 1,500 workers and none of my employees was involved in any survey conducted.

I have checked with my human resource counterparts in Selangor and Negri Sembilan and none of them has ever heard of any survey carried out by the EPF.
