Sea of rubbish: Get the culprits
25Apr2008 NSTEVERY morning as I go by the seashore next to Lido beach in Johor Baru, I am flabbergasted at the quantity of rubbish, flotsam and plastic containers found there.
This is unacceptable. I hope the Johor Baru City Council will investigate to ascertain the source of the rubbish and take immediate action against the offenders.
Environmental awareness seems to be lacking in this city. Let’s hope the offenders are caught and given the maximum punishment.
