Current issues, feedback & complaints on public services in Malaysia
I COULD hardly believe what I saw on television yesterday.
Like many others in this country, I was eagerly waiting to watch the 12th Parliament in session, live on TV. What a shock. I had to watch the unruly behaviour of some of our leaders.
In spite of the king’s advice that the people’s respect for and confidence in Parliament as the country’s supreme legislative body is contingent upon the role of the honourable members, some MPs behaved very badly.
I am totally disappointed that some of our leaders, instead of showing respect for one another, resorted to name-calling and making disparaging remarks. Are these the leaders who are going to fight the cause of the rakyat? Seeing the peoples’ representatives in action in Parliament, I wonder if I had made the right choice as a voter.
