Current issues, feedback & complaints on public services in Malaysia
KEDAH Menteri Besar Azizan Abdul Razak seems to be deaf.
The issue of logging an area twice the size of Singapore will not only have negative environmental consequences, it will also have irreparable impact on the economic wellbeing of the farmers.
What about the quality of drinking water and its shrinking supply?
Azizan likens the forest to a pampered child. You need to pamper a child who is important to you, especially when the child provides a number of benefits to the family. Azizan is like someone who kills the goose that lays golden eggs.
The forest near the catchment area has such a tremendous value to the state and its people but because of incompetence in managing the financial needs of the state, Azizan wants to take the easiest way out: selling its assets.
The people elected him to work for the state, not to rape it of its source of life.
