Current issues, feedback & complaints on public services in Malaysia
I HAD lunch at a franchised foot outlet at a mall and left feeling ripped off.
I ordered an Egg Mayo with Watercress, which the menu said cost RM7.50. My drink was a small orange plus carrot juice that cost RM8.
My bill showed the sandwich was charged at RM9.50 and the drink at RM8.50.
There was no mention of any price difference when I ordered the food.
When I enquired about the sandwich, the staff said they added lettuce, tomato and onions, which I didn’t ask for.
The sandwich came with the three “extra” vegies, a handful of broken chips minus the watercress.
There was no mention of why the drink cost more.
I believe in decent business practices and ethics. I did not see them here.
