Current issues, feedback & complaints on public services in Malaysia
TERENGGANU Menteri Besar Datuk Ahmad Said is indeed a brave man to have defied the government’s directive and gone ahead and purchased Mercedes Benz cars for senior state administration officials.
He has sealed the coffin of our national car by openly declaring the Perdana to be unreliable, breaking down very frequently, and openly declaring the high cost in maintenance.
There are underlying problems in Terengganu: either the cars are driven to such an extent that they require constant and costly maintenance or, as I am inclined to believe, the service workshops are overcharging the state government.
