Current issues, feedback & complaints on public services in Malaysia
THE very people who are supposed to promote, encourage the use of and recommend our Malaysian-built cars are today condemning it.
Just a few months ago, some of them were driving Proton models of even smaller engine capacities — Proton Saga, Proton Wira and Proton Waja — but just because they are in power today they want Mercedes Benz and other luxury models.
The smaller and cheaper models were good enough for them then; today these cars do not have enough “class” for them.
The state executive council members, must first prove their worth. They should ensure their constituents have better living conditions before they demand better facilities.
Some Malaysians are struggling to have a decent meal in the face of rising cost of living; yet we have people here who want more luxuries.
I have been driving a Perdana V6 for the past four years. Besides normal wear and tear and monthly service which costs only a few hundred ringgit, I don’t have any problem at all.
As a daily road user, I have seen Mercedes Benzes and BMWs stranded on the road more often than Perdanas.
In my humble opinion, the Perdana V6 Executive is good enough for all State Executive Members.”
