Current issues, feedback & complaints on public services in Malaysia
LAST week, I attended a waste management seminar by the Waste Management Association Malaysia.
The privatised Solid Waste Management (SWM) bill will bring about significant changes in the management of waste in our country.
This is going to change the lifestyle of Malaysians.
In one of the plenary sessions, a speaker mentioned a book by the Ministry of Housing and Local Government on the environment and waste management in Malaysia. There is also a book on the environment for kindergarten children.
As far as I know, the only literature available in our National Library on recycling, reducing or composting are translations of books from Western countries.
Would anyone know how I can get my hands on these books by the Ministry of Housing and Local Government? It is my hope that the ministry will consider distributing these books to all schools.
