Current issues, feedback & complaints on public services in Malaysia
IN 2002, the government announced that maths and science would be taught in English from 2003. Back then I was in Primary Six.
In Form 1, it was initially difficult for both teachers and students. Slowly, things began to change and everyone was happy learning maths and science in English (without neglecting our national language). I am happy to say that my friends and I have learned both the subjects for five years without any hassle.
I urge the Education Ministry not to go back to teaching maths and science in Bahasa Melayu, for the better of the nation.
