Current issues, feedback & complaints on public services in Malaysia
I WENT to AmBank in Silibin, Ipoh, to withdraw RM1,500 to pay the housing loans for my children on Sept 25.
After retrieving the automated teller machine card, I forgot to collect the money from the machine. I never noticed anyone around me.
I was about to start my motorcycle when a young man rushed up to me, saying that I had forgotten to take the money from the machine.
This is a material world. Today, youths are snatching bags and killing others for money.
This young man could easily have taken the money but he stopped me to hand it over.
In fact, I offered him some money as a token of appreciation but he refused to accept it.
May God bless him and his family for his honesty.
