RACE RELATIONS: Fairness is essential
10Oct2008 NSTTHE proposed Race Relations Act will be a waste of time and effort to enact. You cannot legislate human behaviour.
The only way to improve race relations is to treat all Malaysians equally. When people of one race feel they are unfairly treated, distrust and friction between people of all races will never end. This is our main problem.
Give all Malaysians a level playing field in all aspects, and race relations will be on track automatically. Race-based political parties will die a natural death.
