Current issues, feedback & complaints on public services in Malaysia
Shahrukh acted in a movie shot in Malacca. Is this reason enough for him to get the award? In that case, why didn’t his co-star, Juhi Chawla, receive an award as well?
I am baffled. When Datuk Nicol David and Lee Chong Wei received their datukships based on their achievements in squash and badminton, people were quick to question whether they were “worthy” recipients of a datukship.
These young achievers, who worked very hard to bring glory to the country, were seen as undeserving because they were still “too young” and hadn’t contributed enough to the country.
Compare what they have done for this country with what Shahrukh has done.
I think Shahrukh’s award is just ridiculous.
