THE Telecoms Department, and later Telekom Malaysia, used to make it easy for customers to collect the latest edition of Panduan Telefon.
Until five years ago, the latest editions could be collected at Kedai Telekom, now known as TM Point, twice a year without any fuss.
In fact, there were a couple of occasions 10 years ago when Telekom Malaysia distributed new editions to homes of customers.
Since I have not seen the latest Panduan Telefon distributed at TM Point or post offices for a few years, I called TM Publications (now TM Info-Media) to find out how I could get one.
Imagine my disappointment when I was told to go to its office in Pandan Indah to collect the directory.
Everyone knows how difficult it is to move around Kuala Lumpur.
Telekom Malaysia should instead resume the distribution of Panduan Telefon at TM Point.
