Current issues, feedback & complaints on public services in Malaysia
I AM a lecturer and was a keen listener of the radio programme Sinthanai Thuligal aired over Minnal FM (RTM).
I listened to the programme while driving to work every morning without fail.
I felt good listening to the “three-minute story and the moral of the story”. There was always a short and meaningful message in each story.
Also, more and more of my friends started listening to this programme after I told them about its “value-added” part.
Much to my disappointment, the programme was discontinued in April.
Thus, it was a pleasant surprise when I saw Astro Vaa-navil’s version of Sinthanai Thuligal.
The background voices from the radio programme have been maintained and that is just great.
Many of us fans of these voices are very happy that the same voices are being used to narrate the “value message of the day”.
I congratulate Astro Vaa-navil for this commendable effort to instil good values among Malaysians. We need a dose of Astro’s Sinthanai Thuligal to boost our values and lead a better life.
