Current issues, feedback & complaints on public services in Malaysia
I WOULD like to thank Abdul Razak Abu Samah of Bohor, Pahang, for his suggestions for improving the appointment system at Hospital Kuala Lumpur and apologise for any inconvenience he might have had experienced while waiting to see a doctor (”Have a proper system to see doctors” — NST, Nov 24).
Indeed, Razak is right in saying that generally people wouldn’t mind a staggered system of appointments so that they do not have to wait at the hospital all day before they get to see the doctor.
Patients should contact the appropriate appointment counters at the specialist clinics to confirm their appointments and ensure that they do not have to endure long waits.
