Current issues, feedback & complaints on public services in Malaysia
ON Wednesday morning, I heard the roar of many motorbikes zooming past my house. I caught a glimpse of riders in school uniform, without crash helmets, doing stunts. Many had female pillion riders.
My house is near a secondary school and I realised that the SPM exam had come to an end.
What I am trying to highlight is, with the economic downturn, and with almost 400,000 youths joining the race for jobs, there is bound to be a surge in social ills like motor vehicle thefts, snatch thefts and selling of pirated VCDs.
With the start of the school holidays, I appeal to the authorities to be vigilant and to the public to be proactive.
