EVERY day we dump our waste without realising that we are contributing to the destruction of our lovely planet Earth.
How many of us actually sit back and ask: “How much waste have I contributed today?”
My mother, the environmentalist in the family, always plays her role in trying to save the planet. She takes her time to separate the trash accordingly, recycles what is recyclable and, as far as possible, avoids the use of plastic bags.
Even when she buys food to take away, she insists on bringing along Tupperware or a pot to avoid having to use plastic containers as they are not biodegradable.
If you have not set your goals for helping to save this planet in 2009, I believe you know what you have to do.
