Current issues, feedback & complaints on public services in Malaysia
I REFER to the report, “Bogus cops nabbed” (NST, Jan 15), relating how six men, including a foreigner, were nabbed by police in Ampang and Cheras for pretending to be policemen.
The men were trying to gain entry into the homes of their victims with the intention of robbing them.
Bogus law enforcers have been in the news for quite a while and it was therefore good news to all that the police succeeded in exposing their fake identities. There will now be fewer bogus policemen looking for easy prey.
Kudos to the police for nabbing the six “policemen”.
