I SUBMITTED particulars regarding my late wife’s assets to Amanah Raya in 2006. The assets were a piece of land, some money in two banks and some shares.

I also paid RM350 as a processing fee to Amanah Raya to expedite the process. I have waited for three years with no feedback.

The banks have informed me that my late wife’s money will be transferred to the “no claim” account if no action is taken soon.

Every time I visit the Amanah Raya office in Ipoh, the officers have the same reply: “Tunggu untuk surat dari kita. Semua urusan telah dibuat. (Wait for our letter. Everything has been settled)”.

I do not know what is going on in Amanah Raya regarding my case, and how long I have to wait to claim the assets.

I am ageing and there is no next of kin to contest.

I have also attended an interview held by Amanah Raya for the land transfer.

Since last year until now, assessments and quit rents bills still come under my late wife’s name.

It looks like I am on a wild goose chase.

Can Amanah Raya please explain?
