Current issues, feedback & complaints on public services in Malaysia
WHEN going shopping, we are advised not to carry too much cash. So, most of us think that a credit card will come in handy when making purchases. How wrong I was.
I have come across many retail shops that charge an extra of between 1.8 and three per cent. Do they have the right to charge us extra?
If not, why aren’t the authorities or the card companies taking action?
The inaction by the authorities or the card companies will discourage people from using the cards.
