Current issues, feedback & complaints on public services in Malaysia
I READ in the newspapers on Sunday that Deputy Federal Territories Minister M. Saravanan caught two doctors at Kuala Hospital doing their own thing. If true, this is bad.
But to be fair to them, an investigation must be done. If they were doing that in their rest period or after they had finished work, there is nothing we can do as they can read or write to newspapers.
Talking of emergency treatment, I was rushed to a private hospital last week and was in the emergency bed for 28 minutes before a doctor came to see me. That is private hospital service and, in the end, I was handed a hefty bill.
We have to be serious about emergency treatment. Medical staff should not take it easy.
