Current issues, feedback & complaints on public services in Malaysia
WITH reference to the letter from A.R.B. of Kluang (”Gross sight at government department” — NST May 4), the Immigration Department wishes to apologise for the inconvenience experienced by members of the public while using the department’s public toilets.
In respect of remedial action, the Immigration Department has directed the maintenance contractor to increase the number of cleaners manning all public toilets, prepare a cleaning schedule frequently and assign diligent cleaners to ensure public toilets are properly cleaned.
Rest assured that the Immigration Department is ever ready to serve and facilitate the delivery of services to the public. We value all feedback, even if it is negative, as we strive to continuously improve our services.
