LOOKING at the antics of Barisan Nasional and Pakatan Rakyat politicians in Perak, I see the situation has escalated into a crisis that is causing a lot of concern and confusion among the people.

Let’s look at what transpired in the last two weeks. First, we were told the High Court declared Datuk Seri Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin as the rightful menteri besar of Perak.

Later, we learnt that Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir had been recognised as menteri besar after getting a stay of the High Court declaration from the Court of Appeal.

The question is, how many MBs do the people of Perak need to run the state ?

I think it is a waste of time and money for BN and Pakatan to indulge in appeals and counter-appeals.

This sandiwara must cease. Both parties should seek an audience with the sultan of Perak and request the dissolution of the state assembly.

Both sides must face the people’s court when a snap election is called.

Let the people of Perak decide which party they want as a government of their choice.
