Current issues, feedback & complaints on public services in Malaysia
I COULDN’T agree more with Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor’s call for total customer service (”Rosmah: Accord priority to customer service” — NST, July 6) at the launch of the 10th Malaysia Mega Sale Carnival.
It is so true that “the bottom line is that people buy from people, not companies”. It all boils down to human interactions.
Hence, those in the services sector must keep polishing their people skills.
This covers a wide range of interactions, e.g. doctor-patient, teacher-student, depositor-bank officer, mak cik-fish monger, customer-car salesman, lab attendant-scientific supplies salesperson, driver-car mechanic, passenger-taxi driver, etc.
