MY response to “Subsidy or bankruptcy” (Letters, June 15) is that those who cannot afford to pay for fuel for their cars should take the public transport. We cannot depend on subsidies all the time.

Wong Ee Lynn I AM appalled that an elected representative such as Malacca Chief Minister Mohamad Ali Rustam could defend animal testing on such flimsy grounds and invoke faith and the name of the creator on what is essentially a scientific issue.
